Juan Carlos Huanca is the proud owner of Finca La Asunta, a 7-hectare farm located in Bolivia. Within the farm, 3 hectares are dedicated to coffee cultivation, while the remaining land is utilized for growing citrus fruits.
This lot of coffee showcases a remarkable story of perseverance and commitment. Following the devastation of his crop at Finca La Asunta due to disease, Juan Carlos decided to replant the land with Gesha and Catuai varietals.
Over the course of several years, he dedicated himself to nurturing the new plants, understanding their requirements, and the outcome is a truly exceptional coffee that offers a delightful experience.
This Gesha lot was dry fermented for 22 hours before being dried on raised beds for 7 days.
