The Story

Johny Lemus is the dedicated owner of Finca San Antonio, a three-manzana farm nestled in the highlands of Chalatenango, El Salvador. Known for its fertile black soil and ideal growing conditions, the farm is primarily planted with the Pacas variety, a natural mutation of Bourbon prized for its sweetness and balance. In addition to Pacas, Johny has also begun cultivating Gesha, a highly sought-after variety renowned for its delicate florals and complex flavours. He is continuously refining his processing techniques to enhance the quality of his Gesha harvests.

At Finca San Antonio, Johny employs both natural and washed processing methods to highlight different aspects of his coffees. This particular lot is a naturally processed Gesha, carefully dried to develop its vibrant fruit character and refined aromatics. The result is a cup that evokes notes of ripe papaya, juicy sweet pear, and delicate floral cocoa, offering a beautifully structured and elegant drinking experience.
